The two long coil springs can be found outside the Car Repair Shop, between the shop and the orange Svoboda, to the right of the toilet. These long coil springs replace the Satsuma's standard rear coil springs, increasing the height of the car and softening the ride.

To install[]

Jack the Satsuma up and remove both shock absorbers and coil springs. Put the long coil springs in place of the originals and reinstall the shock absorbers. Remove the car jack.

Effects[]

  • The ride height will increase by roughly two inches.
  • The ride will be smoother but bouncier at the back.
  • Increases oversteer at high speed.
  • Will lessen the chance of the exhaust pipe or fuel tank scraping and falling off over bumps.

Trivia[]

  • In Finland during the '80s and early '90s, lifting the rear of a car to make the rear higher than the front was a popular modification among young car enthusiasts. The reason for this was to make the car look more practical than what it really was.
  • They are most likely from the orange Svoboda they are found next to, as its rear suspension is collapsed.
