There are a few Easter eggs to be discovered in My Summer Car. Here's where you'll find interesting and silly things the developers have put in game! Don't forget to add screenshots if you expand the list.
Computer Virus[]
A DOS virus can be obtained upon downloading any of the TeleBBS games if My Summer Car was not launched through Steam. This is a form of Anti-Piracy measure.
After starting any installed TeleBBS game, resetting or rebooting the computer will activate the virus payload during RS-POS startup.
Once the payload is activated, the computer begins to make noises and a red ASCII spider travels across the screen in 5-second loops. A message mockingly asks, in English, if you are "enjoying your new computer" and suggests that you "make your mother buy a new one". The virus will then proceed to format the C: drive.
After restarting the computer post-format, the player will encounter a screen prompting them to insert an installation disk. As there is no installation disk in-game, the computer will forever remain in a broken state (unless a save editor is used to revert the effects).
Inside the train tunnel[]

The message "Olet tunnelissa. Mene takaisin kotiin ja nuku yön yli." can be found inside the tunnels at both ends of the railroad tracks. It translates to "You're inside the tunnel [being in tunnel means being wasted in Finnish slang]. Go back to your home and sleep overnight." This sign is here most likely to prevent players from reaching the void beyond.
Independence day[]
If the game is played on the 6th of December (according to the system clock), some extra objects will appear on the map to celebrate the Independence Day of Finland:
Finnish flag[]
A Finnish flag will appear on every flagpole in Alivieska.
Spotlights[]
Two spotlights, white and blue for the colors of the Finnish flag, will be projected at the grain silos and at the ski hill.

Satsuma skin[]
If the customizable "car.png" skin file is corrupted, the texture will change to resemble a painted easter egg. If the file is corrupted, press "F5" at the main menu or buy the custom paint job at Fleetari's to get it to work in-game. The same trick will work for "jonnez.png".

Tinted bedroom window[]
The bedroom window can be customized with the windows black wrap. This currently only works for the Player's bedroom and disappears when a save is reloaded. Has no special effect on the game besides blackening the bedroom window.

Jokke in Main Menu[]

There is a small chance that Jokke will appear in the Main Menu, sitting and drinking near the side of the screen. It is only visible with a widescreen resolution. This is likely not part of the lore, because Jokke appears here randomly. This Easter Egg was added in MSC recently.
Driver's licence bar code[]
When decoding the barcode with a reader, it translates to "my summer car developed by jouhi". The original texture file must be used to decypher it.
Satsuma license plate[]
The license plate that the Satsuma gets once passing inspection is a reference to the movie Pohjanmaa, as the Datsun 100A in said film has the exact same license plate.
