Pasi Invaders is a fixed shooter game that can be played on the Mikropekka computer at home. It can be downloaded from the Files section of Con-Line BBS; the file size is 540 kilobytes, which means that downloading the game at the highest possible baud rate will take about 15 minutes. The game can be accessed with the invapasi command and, as with most other games, terminated by pressing Q. The goal of the game is to prevent the enemy from taking over the school.

Gameplay

The objective of the game is to keep the Pasis from entering the school at the bottom of the screen; the game ends if ten Pasis are allowed to enter. The player can either fire at the Pasis from a distance, or wait for them to cross the bottom line and simply move over them. Once 100 Pasis has been defeated, an armored vehicle enters the screen. The vehicle takes 10 shots to defeat; the game is won if the vehicle is successfully destroyed.

Although the entire game is in Finnish, it is simple enough that non-Finnish speakers shouldn't have any problem playing it. One game lasts for 60 seconds. A full playthrough of the Pasi Invaders game can be found here.

Enemies

There are six different types of enemies in the game, including the final boss. Three of them move around erratically while making their way to the bottom of the screen, and two of them come down in a straight line very fast.

• The armored vehicle is based on a Sisu XA-180 Panssari-Sisu (Pasi).
