Wasp nests are big round homes for wasps that can be found in a couple of places around Alivieska. One is located inside the Ruscko, and the other is located in the attic of the mansion near Loppe. They contain wasps that may sting the player character if they get too close. This would be merely an annoyance if were not for the fact that the player character is deathly allergic to wasp stings. A few stings will cause a tunnel vision effect which will wear off over time, and should serve as a warning to leave the area immediately; further stings will result in rapid death.

A fire extinguisher can be used to get rid of the nests. Alternatively, in the case of the Ruscko, the car can be dipped into the lake, then pulled back out with the Gifu or Kekmet.

Dealing with the nest

The wasps are only active from 8:00 to 20:00, which makes night the most opportune time to deal with the little vespid menaces.

A fifteen-second burst from a fire extinguisher will be enough to kill them, which is about one third of the extinguisher's contents, though playing it safe and using all of it is not a bad idea.

One way of dealing with the nest inside the Ruscko is submerging it in water, namely the lake. Holding the car fully underwater for about fifteen seconds will be enough to kill the nest.

To make sure that the nest has been successfully neutralised, carefully approach it during the day and listen for the buzzing sound. If it cannot be heard, the wasps are dead for good.
